“And Then Life Developed a Damaging Serve.”

Enhance your life. Check out Ivo Karlovic’s official website.
From the soft-porn background music to the message that comes up saying “loading Ivo!”, this really is pure gold. I know Philipp Kohlschreiber’s website has stood for a long time as the standard for totally ridiculous player websites, but I think Ivo might have edged him. It’s the attention to detail, from the glimmer of light that runs across Ivo’s sunglasses every so often on the homepage, to tantalising personal tidbits (did you know his father was a meteorologist?), and the orgasmic crowd noises that accompany the music. I can’t get enough of this.

Meet casual!Ivo.
What really puts it over the top though is the frankly mystifying “serve with Ivo” game. Now I’ve played this a few times now, and I *cannot* figure out how it works. My best guess is that you randomly click the tennis ball, Ivo serves, then does a hilarious mime while the game tells you you’re a fucking disaster. What? I didn’t do anything! He served the bloody ball!
Anyway. Go look.

I have to disagree, PEHK is still the gold standard….the talking guy alone on his site kills Divo’s…this might be my haterade of all things Divo talking but I still say PEHK FTW…;)

I love how Ivo’s in the top right corner swaying from side to side looking bored and occasionally bending over to tie a shoelace, or twirl the racquet.

Ah if only this had some German and rave music,THEN it might win!I like the fact that even his own official website (i.e. somewhere that’s supposed to make him sound amazing)can’t think of anything else to refer to him as other than ‘ace king’ and talk about his ace record in the news stories!
Y’know,if Federer had done like 6 more aces (?) and beaten Ivo’s record in the Wimbly final,he might have just found a bridge somewhere in Croatia and jumped off…

WOO WOO!
Hahaha glad to see you got my e-mail, Gaul …
And I too have NO IDEA what is up with the serving “game.” Evidently “game” is used in the loosest term here. I don’t know about you, but I don’t count the action of clicking on a tennis ball as a great activity.
That website must cost serious money — I mean, the glowing tint/sparkle of his sunglasses on the main page! Does Croatia put like 45% of their GDP into his website, or what?

I feel like a Sampras KAD talking here, but PEHK’s website is still my personal GOAT. Ivo’s era is weaker! (don’t ask me how, it just is).
