Robin Rocks, Marat Mastered by Mini-Me

You know what? I’m getting quite fed up with all the Soderling hate floating around. Can we pretend his existence isn’t defined by his history against that Spanish guy and take a moment to appreciate Robin Soderling? Not only is he a legitimate excuse to look at pictures of Magnus Norman …
… but he’s the only seed left in the entirety of the Stockholm Open. And he gives good photo.
Go on. Hate that ass. I dare you.
Anyway, Soderling beat Seppi 61 63 to join Olivier Rochus, Baggy, Arnaud Clement and Jarkko Nieminen (who got a walkover from Tommy Haas due to the flu) in the quarterfinals. Good stuff.
In Moscow, it was a pretty good day for the people who aren’t really anybody, particularly. Robby Ginepri beat Marcel Granollers and even bagelled him in the second, qualifiers Kukushkin and Marchenko defeated Odesnik and Golubev respectively, Christophe Rochus was forced to retire trailing Janko Tipsarevic, and Marat Safin failed to do the decent thing and consolidate his defeat of Davydenko, falling to Evgeny Korolev.

Magnus Norman looks to me like Freddie Ljungberg’s older but less aged and less hot brother.
Seriously though, did people not see the French Open final and winner’s ceremony? If you hate Robin after watching that then you can just crawl back into your hole, Rasputin.

haven’t you heard?? Everything only happens in relation to Fedal. What kind of tennis LaLa land are you living in? Kolya is pretty evil too.

…. Rasputin?
Well, you know me, naughty. Fighting the doomed FOOP fight.

Yeah Rasputin. He was the only evil historical figure I could think of. I guess you would have prefered it if I had chosen Spanish Influenza as the evil person.

Ah right. It was the hole bit that threw me off. I was trying to think whether Rasputin had ever lived in a hole.

Magnus Maximus looks even better now than ever. No yoke.

Sodders is kind of shy and awkward. People instinctively scent blood and like hyenas will round up on the shy and awkward, bark at them, gnaw at them, shit on them, etc. I know, I’m shy and awkward. But I’m learning not to appear so anymore, maybe Robs will learn too.

ps Ollie is the shorter, hotter Rochus.
