Forgot to add congratulations to Maria-Jose Martinez Sanchez and her pint-sized partner, Nuria Llagostera Vives, who beat Cara Black and Liesel Huber for the Doha doubles title 10-7 in the tiebreak. And celebrated fabulously.
Nice to see some Spanish ladies grabbing some glory. And Martinez Sanchez is also in the lineup for Bali, so she’s having a really solid year. Well done.
