La Monf Jumps Ship, Lands In K-Swiss

Yeah, I was going for some sort of ‘K-Swiss Family Robinson’ joke but it just didn’t happen and I’ve had way too much caffeine to worry about it.
Anyway, K-Swiss announced today that it had signed Gael Monfils away from Nike. He’ll join such luminaries as Tommy Haas, Sam Querrey, Vera Zvonareva and the Bondarenko sisters.
La Monf debuted his new threads today during a 62 75 win over Stephane Robert.
The colour’s OK, I guess, but La Monf just should be sleeveless. He just should. Apart from the fact that he looks great that way, who’s going to wear all the clothes we should have been seeing Delpo in over the next however many months?
I don’t think so. Not when you’re losing 60 62 to Benjamin Becker, the angel of imminent retirement.
