Bangkok: Were the Annoying Couple in ‘The Beach’ French?

Posted by gauloises1 on October 2, 2009

Just wondering if it’s something about French people and Thailand. Jo-Wilfried Tsonga and Gilles Simon are both in the semis but needed three sets to make it. I didn’t see Gilles’ match, but Jo was definitely looking a bit end-of-season-y against Chiudinelli. Unsurprising, really; when was the last time he managed to play a full season like this? Still, they both won and they looked hot.

Bonjour.

Jo will be facing Viktor Troicki, who upset eighth seed John Isner in a result that made me go ‘oh’, and Gilles will apparently have to beat at least six Jurgen Melzers.

I feel like Gilles has been in a funk since the first round o fDavis Cup, so I would love to see him win this tourney. I’d also love to cuddle him if he should lose.

That Melzer picture is totally trippy and gives me a headache.

Oh, wait, normal Melzer does that anyway. 🙂

P.S: Is “The Beach” that movie with Leonardo Mayer DiCaprio?
