Now We Are Six

Posted by gauloises1 on October 21, 2009

Congratulations to Andy Roddick for qualifying for the WTFs. As I’ve possibly said before or not, it would have seemed wrong for him not to be there.

The latest news from his medical team is that the knee injury which forced him out of Shanghai won’t require surgery and he should be available to compete in the Paris masters.

In case you can’t count to eight, this leaves two London spots open, with Davydenko and Verdasco looking in good shape to complete the set.

Aaaw, cute picture! 7 straight years (and this will be his 8th in the top 10). Not bad considering he’s 27! Very relieved that he qualified, but most importantly, that it seems he will actually be able to play!

I’m so glad he qualified. The WTF’s just wouldn’t be the same without Andy there.

His feet are really freaking me out in that picture.
