I don’t know that the reaction the directors were going for was laughter, but I definitely laughed when I viewed this. Rafa = not at all a natural actor.

But he likes to laugh with her and smile at her, both very naturally. And she with/at him, also naturally. So, it was not about wooden acting. These two really like each other, that’s why he was persuaded to do this.

I like the moment at the end — his laughter, which seems so natural. But the “intimate” moments before that make me laugh. I love Rafa to pieces — and I’ve seen clips of just about every possible ad he’s been in so I’m actually somewhat surprised, as he did better than I was expecting.

Oh I totally laughed. I choked on my Pinot Grigio, I was laughing so hard. It’s a strong contender for the most awkwardly adorable thing I’ve ever seen.

I agree with Robert. Not awkward at all. Really, very sensual and tender all at the same time.
Whodathunk? Actually, I would. These two have been rumored for a long time. And, I love it.
