And oh yeah, Wayne Odesnik is in trouble after he pleaded guilty to bringing HGH (human growth hormone) into Australia. He has been fined and could face a two-year suspension. I don’t know about you, but I’m asking the question: you took HGH and you only managed to be Wayne Odesnik? It can’t be that good then, can it?

Oh, and there will be cheerleaders and Guillermo Canas retiring. Apparently.

*nods vehemently* When I watched part of his match with Russell in Memphis, my main reaction was along the lines of “Would the two of you stop jawing at the chair umpire and just freaking PLAY?”

Roddick was marvelous in his pre-tournament presser. I’d heard the line about his bad day = a very good day for most other people before, but it certainly bears repeating, especially when he keeps getting the same tired leading questions about last Wimbledon.

    Have a great weekend!!

Odesnik- sooo random. Makes sense that the lower ranked guys just trying to make ends meet would get roped into more of that stuff though.

And yeah, Ribbons, you’re right- Rod’s Miami presser was AMAZING. They asked him about a thousand questions about Wimbledon (WHY?!?!?!) and he kept his cool and gave honest, thoughtful, classy answers. I actually teared up reading it.
