He Won, He Won

Posted by gauloises1 on February 9, 2011

Hopefully the first of many. Delpo beat Teimuraz Gabashvili in the first round of the SAP San Jose Open, 63 62.

He Juan, he Juan.

Childish Gambino dance party!

Lukas Lacko next. Who just beat Sam Querrey. Again. Sadface.

Yay! Was so excited to wake up and see that DelPo won. When I went to bed he had won the first set and was on serve in the second. Wish I could have watched, but for now, I’m just thrilled to see his name on the scoreboard.

And, WTH is going on with Querrey? He refused to go to a press conference last night? I really don’t get it at all — I feel like he needs to grow up quite a bit if he wants to be a tennis player.

In the battle of adorable giants, I would love to see Delpo play Raonic. Likely won’t be this tourney, as they’re on opposite sides of the draw. Most unfortunate! On the other hand…my hopes of a dream(y) final live another day 🙂

Two things I lurve in one post- DelPo and Donald Glover. Happy day!

In a random twist of things, isn’t Delpoloid playing doubles with Querrey, too? (Although I feel like they have played doubles together before … have they? I can’t remember.)
